Group Dinner in Seseh: Booking a Table for 6–10 Near Canggu

Getting a group of six, eight or ten people fed well in the Canggu area is harder than it sounds: long waits, split tables, kitchens that buckle under a big order. Seseh, ten minutes west of Pererenan, is where group dinners get easier. Here's how to plan one — and how we host groups at AVA Bistro.

The group dinner challenge

A table for two is easy anywhere. A table for eight is a different problem: you need a kitchen that can send dishes out together, a room where one long table doesn't block the whole floor, and staff who treat a big booking as a pleasure rather than a problem.

In central Canggu, weekends often mean waiting lists even for small tables — for groups it's worse. On the Seseh coast the pace is calmer, and restaurants have the space and patience a group needs.

Group dinners at AVA Bistro

• Evenings — the kitchen takes orders until 21:30; for groups we suggest sitting down by 19:30 so nobody's rushed.
